Sevierville Hamfest April 21, 2018

There will be a Hamfest in Sevierville TN, April 21, 2018 at the Sevierville Middle School,  408 High St, Sevierville, TN 37862. (King Family Library)

METERS will have a table with info about our group! If you are interested in helping man the METERS table, please contact Cathi Cogle 865.617.2752. 

New information on the Sevierville TN Hamfest !!!!!

     The Hamfest has moved next door to where it was, and as of today we will be holding the Hamfest at the King Family Library,408 High Street,  next door to the Sevier County Middle School where it was going to be held...A big thanks to the King Family Library for getting us in with short notice.. Still plenty of room for the boneyard, and plenty of parking for those not setting up in the Boneyard, on both sides of the Library.. and it will be all Blacktop to set up on,..We have two Classrooms at the Library, for workshops and FCC Testing...
      Admission after our meeting will now be $5.00, you will have to have a ticket to participate in the Door Prizes, and to eat, which is extra as this is being served by the Sevier County HS Band, whose proceeds will go directly to them for their Band Activities...Our sponsors & vendors have not changed,.. 

      Still having the Amateur Radio Car Show, Clubs and the ARRL will be there, this is a ARRL Santioned Event.

      Talk in will still be the 146.940 repeater of Tim Berry WB4GBI, as well as using DMR TG 424705.

      W4VEC, FCC test session this year will start at 10:30 AM. The cost is 12.00 Cash, get your license on Monday:  if testing for Tech, you will need photo ID, for upgrades, bring a copy of your license, new license will be sent to you via e mail from the FCC.

     There will be Forums to attend, Digital Radio, Propagation, Antennas and more ....

     Tennessee ARRL SEC and Staff setup Keith Miller will be doing a workshop on the ARRL. 

We also will be doing a Amateur Radio Car Show, for those who would like to show their mobile's, how they are setup, tell about any information that they encountered, that could help other's in their installation, their will be a section set aside for these folks, so everyone is together.

Any Ham Radio Club is also welcome to set up and tell about their club or organization, those clubs or organizations can contact me if interested ...we will allow 4 members of each club free admission, will require clubs to send a list of those attendings so we have on our list at the gate, only those listed (4) members of that club will have free admission, with your set up, talk about your club and what you all do. Must contact Rick Sawaya N4JTQ again with your list by April 15th ..
