The Middle East Tennessee Emergency Radio Service will be having a GENERAL CLASS LICENSE review on the third and fourth Saturdays in January (1/18/20 and 1/25/20). We plan to offer testing at the end of the second day.

The location will be Knoxville EOC, 605 Bernard Avenue, Knoxville, starting at 0830-1700, both days.

It has been more than a year since we offered a General Class review, so if you have been considering upgrading your license, now is your chance! Take the next step and obtain 95% of the privileges the FCC grants to amateurs!

The review will be using materials from W0STU Stu Turner and Ham Radio School. The 3rd edition of his Study Guide is for the 2019-2023 Question Pool. Here is a link to purchase it on Amazon:

Please note that purchasing the book is not required and there is no fee to attend the review (there is a $10 fee to take the optional test), but students are strongly urged to obtain a study guide of their choice and study it before attending the review. It is not expected that merely attending the review will prepare the students to pass the exam.
